be handed out at the upcoming IndieHeaven CIA
Summit2008 conference March 29, 2008.

Stronghold’s Musical style originates through the groups
singer/songwriter Mickey Rose. Who’s influences growing up were Neil
Young, Crosby, Stills and Nash, America, Poco, Lynard Skynard and many other
Classic Rock artists who defined superb musical arrangements and tight vocal
harmonies. These same attributes are found in their CD “A Cross And A
Crown.” While musical styles vary from song to song everyone easily
recognizes the classic rock style of the music and that the lyrics are
undeniably Christian. When Stronghold isn’t performing somewhere, Mickey
and his wife Ann can be found at Ivor United Methodist Church leading
Worship on Sunday mornings. They spend their non-musical time as
owner/operator of two Sears Dealer Stores located in Suffolk and Franklin,
Va., enjoying outdoor activities when they can and seeking God’s
never-ending Blessings in all they do.
